Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actress and model. She became known in Australia for her role as Pepper Steiger which she played in the soap drama Neighbors in a series of ten episodes broadcast between 2006 and 2007. The actress arrived in Hollywood with two projects: first with the choral comedy Hollywood & Wine in which she played an aspiring actress who was a newcomer to Hollywood. Then she was offered a part in the role of Maya who is a stunning medical student, in Scrubs the ninth season. The show is then abruptly stopped. After that, she continued filming the Farrelly Brothers comedy Good to Shoot that starred Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Then she played in B-series film as well as series shorts. The year 2013 saw her debut, she was able to tackle more difficult projects. She was featured in six episodes in the detective show Franklin and Bash, and then got her first role as a regular on the web-based series Chosen, starring Milo Ventimiglia. The role she plays is that of a flight assistant. However, she also shares the logo for a brand-new TV show called Matador which she co-stars with Gabriel Luna.
