Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. She is the mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. She is the daughter of an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's previous marriage. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned six, after which the family relocated into Victoria at the time of London. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and hoped she could move back to Argentina. Hill House, a school located in the same area as Northlands was obligated to accept her. She then went to Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and participated in the drama department. She dropped out of the high school aged 16 to focus on her acting career. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to be an actor and her dreams came true when she was offered an opportunity to model by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
