Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny in 1950 on the 3rd of February is an American actor. Her fame grew during the 1970s and 1980s due to her role as a TV actress shows. The glamorous look of her was often the focus on these shows. Fairchild was first noticed in her role on the CBS daytime soap opera Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. The first actress to portray Jenna Wade, she made her TV debut on CBS's soap opera daytime Dallas in 1978. The following year, she was offered her first leading part for The NBC series Flamingo Road (1980), which earned her a Golden Globe Award as Best Actress - Television Series - for that series. The show was a short-lived ABC primetime comedy Paper Dolls. Later, from 1985-1986 she played the attorney Jordan Roberts as part of Falcon Crest. Fairchild has also performed in the theater, and has appeared in guest roles in television comedies including Murphy Brown (for which she received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest actress in a Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill as well as Friends.
