Emily Bett Rickards, born on the 24th of July 1991 in Canada, is a Canadian actor who is best famous for her character Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. As a child, Rickards began her professional career with the musical theater and later dancing. Then, she wanted to get into professional acting. She graduated from high school early and attended the Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Course. Following the completion of the course and attending an audition open to the public and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio taught her.
