Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor, director, producer and teacher of St. Thomas University). Anna Silk is child of a Briton as well as an Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a young child, she was featured in various commercials. Then, in November 1999 Anna made the move to Toronto for the purpose of advancing her acting career. She eventually moving to Los Angeles, California, during the decade that followed. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, and they became engaged in 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism in the month of January, 2011, and they renewed their vows during the Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's same sex relationship, with Lauren (played Zoie Palermo), was listed in CNN as being among the all-time favorites Television Couples. E! named it "the most popular television Couple" in 2013.
