Maria Brink

 Maria Brink, born December 18, 1977 is an American singer-songwriter. She is well-known for her work as the frontwoman for In This Moment. In This Moment has gone through seven studio albums and receive four nominations, including two from the Alternative Press Music Awards, one from Grammy Awards, and one from Loudwire Music Awards.Brink has been honored with "Rock Goddess of the Year" in the third (2013) and fifth (2015) Annual Loudwire Music Awards, "Hottest Chick in Metal" in 2010and was named one of the 11 females from metal heavy who are important by Yell! Revolver Magazine named Brink one of the "25 most hot girls in Hard Rock & Metal" in 2012. In 2002, at the age of 25, she moved to Los Angeles to find a band to work with Before having a band, Brink worked in stores as well as in coffee shops and bars. On an audition, Brink was introduced to Chris Howorth in 2004. Howorth was initially wary to sign up Brink as a singer due to the fact that she was a woman. Howorth apologized to Brink and then hired her as her singer two weeks later. They came together as Dying Star with Jeff Fabb as their drummer. Later, Blake Bunzel and Josh Newell joined the group as guitarists. The band was soon renamed In This Moment.
